Ingredients
For the Marinade mix
- 350 grams paneer (cottage cheese) cut into cubes
- 1/4 tsp turmeric / haldi
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp pepper, crushed
- 1 tsp cumin powder
For the batter
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 1/4 tsp pepper, crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs

Method
- In a large mixing bowl add the cubes of paneer, ginger & garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, pepper, cumin powder, corn flour, salt and pepper. Add 1/4 cup water to make a batter. Add more water if required.
- Mix everything, making sure that the paneer is coated well with all the spices.
- In a separate bowl place the cup of breadcrumbs and take each cube of marinated paneer and roll into the breadcrumbs making sure to coat it on all sides.
- Deep fry in batches in hot oil until the paneer turns golden brown and crisp.
